Instrumental Work Days

The work day planned for Monday, July 16 is CANCELLED!

 

Students, come help prepare for camp.  We are meeting on July 17 from 9AM-12PM.  Come pitch in as we get things ready! Earn community service hours!!!

 

Marching Band Registration What if I Missed it?!?!?!

Many thanks to those of you came to Marching Band Registration.  It was a huge success! Special thanks to the students and parents who volunteered and helped facilitate the event.  THANKS!

 

In case you missed it, here is what you must do IMMEDIATELY…

  1. Complete the Required Forms online.  Once completed, print off the email you receive and send in a hard copy of the forms during band camp. Be sure to include a copy of your medical insurance card and student’s identification card.
  2. Pay your Fair Share Sponsorship fee. Complete the form linked and send in a hard copy during band camp. Pay online at www.myschoolfees.com>>>Public>>>Fudraisers>>>Fair Share Fee or send a check made payable to Spain Park HS. This is critical to the operation of our program…we CANNOT operate the band in a financial deficit.
  3. Sign up to meet your volunteer obligations.  Each family is asked to work two shifts in our concessions stand, chaperone one football game, and volunteer at our October 2 marching showcase – Sparks in the Park.  You can sign up online!
  4. Sign up for Remind 101…Text @spband2018 to the number 81010
  5. REGISTER ON CHARMS TODAY!

Once your App is installed, login via…

 

School Code: SpainParkBand

Password/ID: first and last name all lowercase (example: chrisneugent)

The student profile section must be updated every year.

 

The My Profile page is the student’s information. (Please capitalize and spell appropriately

so we may print labels without grammatical errors)

Once complete with the student’s profile, click on Edit Adult in the top right. Edit and/or

add parental information. This is crucial to the success of the program so the Director’s can

reach the parents as needed.

THIS IS A STUDENT ACCOUNT – DO NOT CHANGE THE NAME ON THE

ACCOUNT TO YOUR NAME. You may change the password – but be sure you and your

student BOTH know the password.

 

Formal Uniform

Instrumentalists, we need you to bring your formal uniform (dress, tux, slacks and shirt) BACK to SP next week.  We want to ensure everyone gets the best fit. DO NOT ALTER THE UNIFORMS IN ANY WAY! Bring them back in ASAP and Mrs. Mayhew and her crew will make sure you have the PERFECT uniform for our concerts. THANKS!

School Registration

 

Registration dates for Spain Park are now available. Students will be able to register during the noon to 6 PM break each day.  There is NO REASON students should miss camp to register for classes. SP Administration has made registration quicker and easier than ever and they have assured me that there is NO REASON our band students should need to miss camp rehearsals to register.  It negatively impacts all 180+ students when you miss rehearsal.
