WEEKLY SCHEDULE

 

Hi Parents, Music Performance Assessment is NEXT Tuesday for both Symphonic Winds and Chamber Winds.  

We are taking charter buses for performance.  We are asking every student to submit $10 via cash or check to offset the cost of charter buses.  Please send these funds in by Monday of next week.

We need two sets of chaperones for this event.  Please email cneugent@hoover.k12.al.us if you can chaperone the trip for your child’s performance time!  See the detailed Itinerary below.

**Symphonic Winds parents, please make arrangements for pick up at SP @ 4:15 PM**

***Chamber Winds parents, please make arrangements for pick up at SP @ 7:15 PM***

 

In order to make this field trip work, we are making two round-trips to Thompson HS.  Our staff is dependent upon a quick pick up of students at the appropriate time. Thank you for your help!

SYMPHONIC WINDS

10:40 – All 2nd and 6th period students eat A LUNCH TODAY

11:05 – Report to band room, change into formal uniform

11:30 – Warm-Up and rehearse as Full Band

12:40 – Load busses, depart SPHS

1:20 – Arrive at Thompson HS, unload equipment

1:50 – Warm Up

2:20 – Stage Performance

2:50 – Sight Reading

3:15 – Complete sight-reading, pack equipment, load busses

3:30 – Depart Thompson HS

4:15 – Arrive at SPHS, unload equipment

***students should plan to have a ride ready for pick IMMEDIATELY at drop off***

CHAMBER WINDS

3:45 – Report to band room, change into formal uniform

4:15 – Load buses, depart SPHS

5:00 – Arrive at Thompson HS, unload equipment

5:05 – Warm Up

5:35 – Stage Performance

6:05 – Sight-reading

6:35 – Complete sight-reading, pack equipment, load busses

6:45 – Depart Thompson HS

7:15 – Arrive at SPHS, unload equipment
